When you purchase a RuneScape Card from a store, you will discover that it has a 'scratch strip', beneath which is a PIN you can use to pay for membership. The RuneScape Card indicates how long your membership will last.

Please note that you will receive extra membership credit if you are eligible for our loyalty rate.

3. What countries is this payment method available in?

RuneScape Cards are available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Portugal, the Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland and Puerto Rico.

4. How secure is this payment method?

Because you buy RuneScape Cards in stores, it is just as safe as purchasing your groceries.

5. How much does it cost?

The cost depends on the number of months' membership you choose to purchase.

6. How do I subscribe or make a one-off payment?

Select 'Upgrade Your Account' on the RuneScape front page (under the 'Account' drop-down menu), click 'Upgrade now', log in with your account details and follow the instructions for paying by RuneScape Card.

Please be sure to follow all of the instructions and ensure you understand all the points.

7. How do I unsubscribe?

All payments are one-off, non-recurring payments, so there is no need to unsubscribe from any service.

8. How long will it take for my membership to start?

RuneScape Card payments are normally processed instantly, so you should be able to begin playing immediately. Once you have used your card to purchase membership, it cannot be refunded or transferred to a different account.

9. What should I include with my payment?

Details of exactly what to provide with your payment will be noted during the subscription process.

10. I no longer wish to pay for a subscription. What should I do?

You do not enter into a contract until you pay for a new subscription. If you have changed your mind and no longer wish to subscribe using RuneScape Cards, simply do nothing.

11. How many months of membership credit can I buy at a time?

You can pay for thirty or ninety days of membership.

12. How many payments will be taken?

Only one payment will be made if you pay by RuneScape Card.
