Dungeoneering Complexity Level 5 And 6

Introduction

Lost in a mysterious labyrinth
In the final stages of complexity, the dungeons of Daemonheim become bewilderingly twisted and the tricks all the more demonic. On the other hand, almost all of the adventurer's faculties can be put to use divining the way to the base of the dungeon and to uncover the secrets hidden there...

What to Expect in Complexity Levels 5 and 6

The final stage of complexity allows you to use the following further skills and techniques: Farming seeds, Herblore, Summoning and Thieving. The following skills are also tested at complexity level 5 and 6:
The smuggler now offers the full range of stock, and you will encounter both skill doors and challenge rooms on these floors.

Farming Seeds

While Farming was accessible earlier in the dungeon for the purposes of gathering plants to be woven into cloth for mages' robes, now other forms of plant can be grown. These range from the mundane (potatoes, for instance) to herbs for specialised potions that have been developed to use especially within Daemonheim.

Farming these new plants follows the same rules and methods as for Farming textiles.

Herblore

As noted above, a number of new potions have been devised that accomplished herblorists can use to boost skills, heal, and so on - all of the usual tricks that potions manage on the surface of Runescape. To make potions, you will need a vial and ingredients as normal, although the ingredients are obviously quite different within Daemonheim.

Most of the items you need to make potions can be purchased from the smuggler, and you can also find them and the final ingredients you will need on some levels of the dungeon or receive them as drops from the creatures you encounter. Summoning

Summoning draws spirits from their own plane to serve you, and even within Daemonheim this is possible - although the beings are drawn from an entirely different plane, and so the familiars you are able to use require different ingredients. You can purchase the majority of these from the smuggler, as well as finding further ingredients and components around the dungeon or as drops from your foes.

Thieving

Thieving, unlike most of the other skills in Dungeoneering, does not require any special equipment at all, nor does it offer you new ways of achieving things. Rather, and more significantly, it can allow you to actually complete a floor if your way is barred by a locked door, or to access better loot from more securely-fastened chests.

Note that you do not need a lockpick to pick any locks in Daemonheim.
